Things to do: NOLA
There are a few solid options for going out this weekend. Nothing spectacular, mind you, but better than sitting at home watching your dog drag its butt across the carpet:
Friday
Egg Yolk Jubilee @ DBA
- I’ve only seen these guys once. I know, I’m a failure at life. They play jazz and rock and had the crowd dancing consistently. Not a bad choice.
The Button @ the Circle Bar
- I like the Jubilee, but my money for the night is on the Buttons. Their electronic synth pop will keep the kids out of line. These guys might actually be a guilty pleasure, but I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Saturday
There are a few things happening, but nothing I’d recommend. Maybe it’s time you catch up on that homework you’ve been putting off….

It’s been a long time since we’ve been to the Circle Bar and I’d like to check out the Buttons. Let’s go to that and if it’s a bust we’ll head over to Frenchman.
