Things to do: NYC
Alright, this week I have some concise directions for you guys. You have fewer options than last week, but that makes my job a lot easier. Plus, you don’t have to debate what you want to go to:
Friday
Charlie Hunter Trio @ the Jazz Standard
- New Orleans local and Blue Note recording artist plays an eight string guitar… yea. I once saw him play a random set during Mardis Gras with Dave Pirner from Soul Asylum. Hunter plays jazz for the most part. Good stuff.
Saturday
The Wilderness @ the Cake Shop
- Indie prog rock. Their self-titled debut was a runaway hit last year. Go see this.
