Big news! Roger Waters announced today on his website that he will be performing The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety “somewhere in France, this summer.” He will be joined by former bandmate Nick Mason, the only member of Pink Floyd to perform on every one of the band’s albums. I’m sure this show will be impossible to get in on, but it’s still something like a fairy tale. Who would have thought this would ever be performed again? Now if only they can get David Gilmour and Richard Wright in on the project.

Waters also announced he would be embarking on a solo tour across Europe. Personally I’ve never been a fan of his solo stuff, but it’s definitely not the worst solo project ever (see: Billy Corrigan and Zwan).
