Hiphop ubergroup Dilated Peoples will laydown the beats in Manhattan. The Peoples released in February 20/20, a very excellent fourth album. Plus, they’re great live.
Kristin Diable at Laila Lounge
This is one of Jezebel Music’s Brooklyn singer-songwriter nights. Featuring: Octavio La Fuentes, Ben Kreiger, Kristin Diable, Jeremiah Birnbaum. I can’t vouch for all of the artists, but Diable kicks ass. She’s a Baton Rouge native on the verge of big success in the Big City. Diable plays bluesy rock with a lot of soul. There is NO COVER for this show. Three cheers for that.
