TOOL album art
May 2 got a little closer today, when TOOL released the cover art for 10,000 days, their forthcoming album.
Information for the album has, as always, been kept under lock-and-key, but they band is taunting us with slight bits of temptation. The cover art appears to be done by NYC artist Alex Grey. This latest shred of info supplements a tracklist the band released a couple of weeks ago:

3. Wings For Marie (Pt 1)
4. 10,000 Days (Wings Pt 2)
5. The Pot
6. Lipan Conjuring
7. Lost Keys (Blame Hofmann)
8. Rosetta Stoned
9. Intension
10. Right In Two
11. Viginti Tres
Given TOOL’s status as known tricksters, it is highly speculated that all of this information is just a prank from the band. I’m going to take a stab and say that it’s all authentic. I could be wrong. But I don’t think so.
TOOL will be playing Coachella in April before leaving the country for a Eurotour.
