Zoinks, yo. Jason Molina and Daniel Bejar descend upon NYC. It seems there are still tickets available for $14. Both have recently released excellent albums. Good mellow rock for a lazy Tuesday. This is going to be a good show.
The Magic Numbers with The Elected at Webster Hall
This is a half recommendation. I’m sure a lot of people perceive these bands as lame and I don’t rightly blame them. They’re each sort of a guilty pleasure for me. If you enjoy Rilo Kiley you’ll like The Elected. Magic Numbers are goofy but enjoyable. But given that it’s a $25 cover I absolutely urge you to go to my first recommendation. It’s cheaper; it’s better.
