Ozzfest announced which shows Ozzy Osbourne will be headlining this summer. The shows are:

Jun. 29 - Auburn, WA - White River Amphitheater
Jul. 01 - San Francisco, CA - Shoreline Amphitheater
Jul. 08 - San Bernardino, CA - Hyundai Pavilion
Jul. 16 - Chicago, IL - First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre
Jul. 22 - East Troy, WI - Alpine Valley Music Theatre
Jul. 29 - New York, NY - Randall’s Island
Aug. 01 - Boston, MA - Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts
Aug. 04 – Camden, NJ – Tweeter Center at the Waterfront
Aug. 06 – Bristow, VA – Nissan Pavillion

This is the first year that Ozzy (or Black Sabbath) will not headline every show. Ozzy cited that he wants to give other metal acts a chance to take the big stage, but I imagine his age is becoming a factor as well. He will headline another show on the tour but it has not been announced yet. This is the first time Ozzy’s solo act will headline the tour since 2002, as Black Sabbath has headlined the last three years. Ozzy has also mentioned an intention to record a new studio album soon.
