New release Tuesday
It’s Tuesday and you all know what that means, that’s right–time for new releases. This is what you all should be on the lookout for:

Sam Roberts - Chemical City
Dreamy pop rock. They have something distinctly catchy to their sound.
The Streets - The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living (UK)
British rapping phenomenon Mike Skinner returns with his third full-length album in four years. Both of his past albums reached the UK top 10, with A Grand Don’t Come for Free hitting #1. If you’re still on the fence about this one, be sure to check out our review.
Ugly Duckling - Bang for The Buck (US)
I just discovered these guys and they’re great indie hip hop. They’re in the same vein as 2 Skinee J’s. Oh check that name droppage.
Built To Spill - You In Reverse
Not much for me to say about these guys. It’s vanilla indie. Enjoy.
Calexico - Garden Ruin
Holy crap! This album is incredible. I had fully intended to have the review for you all today, but it’s my last semester and I’m in deep with papers and such. I know, I know, I’m a slacker. I’ll have it for you soon. I promise.
Imaad Wasif - Self-Titled
This is an incredibly strong solo debut album. See above, for why the review isn’t up yet.
Eagles Of Death Metal - Death By Sexy
Second release from the rock this amalgamation. It features cameos by the likes of Dave Grohl and Jack Black. It’s good, but not like their first album. Read Mark’s review and you’ll see why.
Pretty Girls Make Graves - Elan Vital
This is pretty basic indie rock, but they manage to innovate enough to keep it enjoyable. It’s not amazing, mind you, but it doesn’t suck.
Wilderness - vessel states
I’ve put a lot of effort into trying to like these guys and just never managed to pull it off. I recognize their first album is good. I can hear the quality in it, but I just don’t like it. I guess I’m defective or something.
Moneen - The Red Tree
Man I hate emo.
Saves The Day - Sound The Alarm
I just don’t like these guys, but I know lots of people do. I’d encourage you to listen to better music.
Morrissey - Ringleader Of The Tormentors
I don’t really need to explain this one you you do I?
Bullets and Octane - In the Mouth of the Young
New rock band from St. Louis. RCA signed them last year and this is their first major release. Nothing spectacular here, but definitely not the worst thing out there.
