Dimestore Troubadours seek bass player
At the Circle Bar Tuesday night, I had a chance to speak with the Troubadours. Only three members of the band were present and when questioned on why they had such a small showing, they broke a bit of news to me.
Citing scheduling difficulties, they informed me that they’re currently combing the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area for a “cool bass player.” Anyone interested can contact the band via Myspace.

oooh, was interesting to find that out. Always thought myspace was a good communication channel - and looks like more and more bands are using it. Think I heard on the news the other day that there were a couple of bands that were giving their single away free to people who added them as a friend - brilliant!
